I loved this book when it was read to me as an elementary student, and I love it now that I'm a teacher. Bradley Chalkers' journey is endearing, funny, and poignant. It's both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Reading it as an adult, it struck an emotional chord in me that I wasn't expecting. A wonderful read.

Sweet story about what makes a bully. And how a great school counselor connects with a troubled boy. It is a bit unrealistic in terms of how quickly the boys behavior improves but I liked the way the author captured the crazy logic of children.

a very touching story.. of a boy named Bradley who is the most hated boy in the school and how he changes around and learn to be himself with the help of the new school counselor and Jeff, his new best friend.

Very cute! Would recommend for year 7s, but also teaching staff who need reminding to be gentle.

This story has some good lessons for children to learn but was written a bit basically for me to promote to my class.

We are all capable of goodness and Bradley Chalkers is proof of that. I read this aloud to my 3rd graders for the first time this year...we loved it. We cried together. This book demonstrates that everyone has goodness inside them and that it's up to us to find it and help them show that. Highly recommend.
