Premise and wanting to know who did it made me read this pretty quick, but there were soooo many holes and weird writing technicalities in this book.

I think this is supposed to be a psychological thriller, but it just isn't thrilling enough to categorize as a thriller. Hysteria is full of mystery though, which is what drew me in. I just think it could have been written in a far creepier way. I wasn't impressed with the use of the "f" word so much in it, and most of the story was pretty predictable, but it was a quick, fun read. I do really like the cover.

I started it but never actually finished it because it just seemed to drag on and I wasn't sure where it was going. The main character is quite boring, surrounded with interesting friends. The story seemed like a good idea at first but it just kinda lost it and I ended up just putting it down.

This book was SO much better than Fracture! I thought I had it all figured out however I am glad to say I was wrong (I really hate predictable books!). Mallory is the central character and I really liked her as well as her friends Colleen and Reid. Fast paced story so I was able to read it quite fast. Anyone who knows me knows I don't give spoilers and I don't tell what the story is about (you can read that in the job description) so my reviews are short and to the point. Very much worth the read

It was pretty good. It remind a lot of another book that I read not too long ago.

Megan has an enviable way with words that brought a chill to my spine on a few occasions. Every "boom boom boom" had me at attention. The memories were perfectly placed throughout.

I absolutely loved the characters. Colleen and Reid were a great compliment to Mallory.

I think where this story failed is the missed opportunity to combine the two plot lines, blending the past with the present. I saw the possible conflict and thought YAY, but it never happened. SUCH POTENTIAL! Makes me sad for this great story.

Regardless, I'm a fan of Megan's. I will always pick her books up because she's very talented.

I thought this novel had a very interesting premise, even though the characterization left much to be desired. Mallory gets shipped off to boarding school with hardly any warning from her parents, and doesn't really put up much of a fight about it. Once she gets there, she doesn't go out of her way to make friends. Even when the guy she has known forever, Reid, tries to connect with her, she shuts him out. She never really comes alive until near the end of the book.

I liked watching the tense plot unfold, and though I never truly felt the amount of fear that Mallory must be feeling, I believed that she felt it. I also liked the flashbacks to the past, that were told as memories slowly came back to Mallory.

There were a couple of twists at the end that I enjoyed, but I still felt there was a lot left unsaid. I won't say what in this review, but I think other readers will agree with me. I hope Mallory went on to have a better life, because after everything she'd been through, she definitely deserved it.
