Megan has an enviable way with words that brought a chill to my spine on a few occasions. Every "boom boom boom" had me at attention. The memories were perfectly placed throughout.

I absolutely loved the characters. Colleen and Reid were a great compliment to Mallory.

I think where this story failed is the missed opportunity to combine the two plot lines, blending the past with the present. I saw the possible conflict and thought YAY, but it never happened. SUCH POTENTIAL! Makes me sad for this great story.

Regardless, I'm a fan of Megan's. I will always pick her books up because she's very talented.
