Pineapple always reminds me of Bennett, and now Lauren has ruined another item or items for me. She keeps throwing rocks IYKYK, shocking me at every turn. Well, I already hated most of them since childhood except one, so whatever.
Every time he called her "Kitten," it reminded me of how I used to hate Sylus calling the MC that and now I love it. Yes yes I giggled when Benny boy said it.Am I in heaven? This is the third ARC of the month with a pierced 🍆 . Bennett is such a goner. He went above and beyond for her. Their banter was worth all the laughter. I loved every bit of it.

The prologue had me tearing up a bit. Acacia either has social anxiety or is just introverted like me. Some parts of the book reminded me of scenes from classic Barbie movies, which I loved.
Is it weird to say I prefer Elyott x Acacia over Roshan x Acacia? She’s insanely powerful and has both of them wrapped around her finger. I’m officially #TeamElyott.Love me a shadow daddy with tattoos and a pierced 🍆.

Kara the librarian gets kidnapped by the hot Lord Caden, and honestly, I'm obsessed! Their banter had me giggling like a mess. Caden has definitely met his match in Kara. He gave me major Klaus Mikaelson vibes every time he called her 'love'–I could clearly hear Joseph Morgan's voice in my head, and it was deliciously filthy. The way he wants her so badly, like she's his lifeline but knows he shouldn't.. the denial, the need to protect her even from himself–it's everything!
Oh, and he gave her a library! A freaking library! Just so she could have a safe place for herself. That moment melted me. Cade's jealousy, especially over a horse, had me dying of laughter–he was such a petulant child! And Kara? An absolute badass. She knows how to fight her battles, and I adore her for it.
