Honestly just here for the vibes. Super quick read, binged in one sitting, slightly unhinged MMC…it was exactly what it sounded like!

The gasps I gusped with this one!!! I loved Nash & Madison–I loved that they had a history, because their relationship didn’t seem completely out of the blue, but I really enjoyed the hint of forbidden-ness with their jobs and the will they/ won’t they, f— it moments! I absolutely could not have predicted how this one was going to go, and I ate it up. I cannot wait to start the next book!!

I really enjoyed the mental health rep in this one, and loved the dynamic between Jon & Sherry! Definitely on the edge of my seat with this one, and I couldn’t put it down!

The definition of it’s always been you!! My lord, my heart. Holden Lexington? I love him. This man has been gone for his girl, and oh does he show it. We’ve had glimpses of Holden & Millie in the previous books, and I’d been dying to know their story, and OOF. It hurt. My heart shattered for these two. I mean Holden’s story?! I cannot stand his monster of a sperm donor (who literally deserves zero acknowledgement). Holden’s had the weight of the world on his shoulders, which led to him breaking both his and Milie’s hearts years ago. When he has to get married, Millie’s the only one he’d even consider marrying. When he finally lets her in and shares what he’s been trying to protect her from?! MY HEART. Like I don’t know how else to put it other than Kristen ripped my heart to shreds and put it all back together in this book. I adore Millie and the way she steps up for Holden, the way she’s his safe space. I love the way Holden shows up for her. The way he’s always shown up for her (whether she knew it or not). I just loved it all. This one has alllll the feels, and every second was perfect. I’ve loved the entire Wilds of Montana series, but there’s just something extra special in this one and it has my heart.

Lincon Foxx. That man. I mean the glasses? The way he’d do anything for his girls? The mouth on that man? I’m a puddle. Actually obsessed. He & Faye have a secret past full of tension. When Faye’s work brings her back home, they can only avoid each other for so long. That tension heats up and it’s so delicious. And can we talk about Faye? Because I want to be like her when I grow up. She’s such a badass and so confident. I love the way she connects with Lincoln’s girls. I love the way both of them are fiercely protective of the ones they love and do their best to take care of everyone. The suspense and twists kept me on my toes, and had me constantly guessing what might happen. I def didn’t see many things coming–the gasps I gusped!!! I absolutely devoured this one, and cannot wait for more of the Foxx fam!!

The Hero She Deserves by Anna Hackett

Another Anna Hackett book I absolutely devoured! I loved Sawyer & Hollis! Sawyer is v protective and sees past Hollis’ movie star status, and Hollis pushes Sawyer to rejoin the world, to break down some of his walls. I’ll always be a sucker for the swoony protective grumps (aka Sawyer). This one’s got the heat and all the action I’ve come to love in Anna’s books, and I ate this one up! A great read if you want something quick, action-packed, with plenty of chemistry and connection!

The way I eat up a brother’s best friend romance every. time. I love them. Brooks & Lila’s story? Obsessed. I loved every second of this one! I want to be best friends with Lila with the way she loves love and Christmas. Her sunshine-y spirit is infectious, and Brooks didn’t even stand a chance. I loved the way he stepped in to help her, determined to make things easier on her. He might have been determined to not cross any lines, but these two are too perfect together and have too much of a connection to ignore. I loved the grumpy/ sunshine dynamic between them. Honorable mention goes to Brooks’ grandmother and Lila’s dog, Winston, who made Brooks work for his affection! This was the sweetest holiday novella (don’t worry, it’ll still make you sweat!) and it was the perfect read for the season!!

brb moving to Strawberry Hollow ASAP. Can I join the Rowdy Reindeers for the Christmas List competition next year? This was such a fun, sweet read that I absolutely devoured! I loved getting to be back in Strawberry Hollow. Wyatt & Josie are everything!! I absolutely melted over Wyatt as a dad to the cutest little girl. I was living for all the Christmas festivities on the list—I mean seriously, how can I join something like that?! I loved Josie and how much she adores Wyatt’s daughter and Christmas. I loved how Wyatt & Josie are clearly meant to be—they have such a familiarity between them that, even with the pain, you can tell it’s always been the two of them. I really enjoyed every second of this one, and it was absolutely the perfect spicy Christmas novella!
