Wells' world building is always so rich and fascinating; I was constantly speculating about the past and what could have happened.

I felt like I should have known that Riathen would be corrupted by knowledge and power, but  was a bit surprised (and disappointed too, poor Elen). And that Constans, while mad, wasn't the real antagonist of the story.

So my theory of post-apocalyptic radiation fallout wasn't it - it really was something more fantastical!  Also they were terrifying.

Cosy and sweet trashy romantic novel. Though it did feel as though Starkey had done their research on Reddit regarding James and Michael's behaviour as they felt like posts I've read before haha

There's something somewhat charming (or relatable??) about a robot with anxiety.

I thought the group Murderbot found themselves with were pretty sweet and enjoyed the group dynamics quite a bit.

So I was a bit surprised when Murderbot just peaced out as soon as they could, though it did make sense. But this meant I had to know where they were going and what was going to happen next, so I immediately started the next instalment.

Nice, fast-paced novella. Really interested in the lore though, wouldn't mind reading more of that.

She forgot to take Yralis to the Melancholy Revels...

Damn, Asperfall turned out to be quite dark with Master Tiberius ending up to be one of the founding fathers and just wants to live forever vampirically.

Kai is such a sweetheart.

While I did enjoy the flashbacks, I did wish sometimes to stay in the present, but that's only because I was impatient to know what happens next!

A couple of misses (I seem to have a great dislike to Sarah Jones from the last story in particular and couldn't wait for her story to be done), but they were mostly kinda cute.
