I think I’d like this a lot more if Charlie didn’t write like an eight year old while constantly getting praised for his “great writing”

It feels like the author just wanted to write her own version of The Final Girls Support Group, and I hated that book, and I might hate this one even more. Why do authors fall back on the “woman is crazy/going crazy” trope when they wanna have a “surprising” twist rather than just write a satisfying mystery/conspiracy with a rewarding resolution? I could see the ending coming from over a hundred pages away and it was even cheaper and slap-dash than I expected. Fuck this book.

This was sweet and comforting and cozy, exactly what I needed right now. My compliments to the author <3

The way that Violet is stripping Cam’s consent away from her in every sex scene and forcing her into kink roleplay is making me dry-heave into my mouth, and denying an orgasm until she played into that roleplay made me delete this book off my kindle app permanently. I hate to add another dnf to my already growing pile for this year but holy fuck what is wrong with this author? I’m scared about her personal definition of consent.
