How the hell did this woman get a publishing contract? How the hell did this woman get multiple publishing contracts?!!
The Haunting Between Us by Paul Michael Winters

This is the best “fanfic with the serial numbers filled off (affectionate)” I’ve ever read
OMG Queer: Short Stories by Queer Youth by Radclyffe, Katherine E. Lynch

There were a couple good stories towards the end but otherwise too many parts of this collection aged like a glass of milk left out on a kitchen counter
Never the Bride by Natasha West

I just need to stop reading her novellas cuz besides Meet You At the End of the World, they’ve all been extremely overwritten and feel patronizing to the audience’s intelligence
Everything Is Awful and You're a Terrible Person by Daniel Zomparelli

It feels like this guy tried way too hard to be weird and artsy and just came off as a massive edgelord
The Honeymoon Hijackers by Natasha West

This story was absolutely brilliant from start to finish, every part was so good (though Kate’s justice boner did make me wanna smack her about half a dozen times), the romance was tumultuous but fantastic, and the humor had me laughing out loud at points. Wish this book and Meet You At The End of the World were avaliable physically so I could have them on my bookshelf, but I guess having them on my kindle app is the next best thing.

From the author who wrote such a brilliant book that ended up being my first five-star of the year, this feels like an awful first draft that was rushed out to hit an arbitrary deadline. The prose is overwritten and repetitive, some parts of the story are rushed past or pushed off the page altogether while others are lingered on far too long, and the story is not at all fleshed out. I hope the next book I read from her leans more towards the first book than this.
