I was really into this at the start but the more further I got into it I just became board and the ending was just unsatisfying to me πŸ˜”

I enjoyed this for the most part particularly the vampires, they were pretty scary and creepy πŸ§›β€β™‚οΈ. But I found the rest of the story to just be ok and I did feel like it dragged in parts when it didn’t need to, a bit too much info on the town and some of the residents for me. I found our main characters to be just fine as well πŸ‘».

Finally read my first Batman comic, been meaning to for a long time and most people said to start with this one πŸ¦‡. I did want a bit more out of it but otherwise it was just fine to me, nothing special but ok. Hoping the next one I read will be better for me πŸ–€.

Probably my favourite Brandon Sanderson book I’ve read so far πŸ“š I highly enjoyed this story ✨ I enjoyed all the perspectives, mainly the two sisters thought ⭐️ I loved the magic system in this world and how colourful most of the world was 🐠 I enjoyed the romances as well quite a bit πŸ’ This book also did surprise me I think half way through with Denth turning out to be well evil, I did not expect that at all cause he just seemed well not nice but good, so I was quite shocked when that happened πŸ™ƒ I do wish there was a bit more at the ending thought, I would of liked another chapter from Siri’s perspective and I would of liked to see the sisters go back home after everything and see there father at least once but otherwise this story was delightful β˜ΊοΈπŸ’œ

So I sadly just did not connect with this story at all πŸ˜•, I just felt very unconnected from the characters and the plot. I probably should of not finished it but I wanted to see if it got any better for me personally cause I see a lot of people really enjoying it and I was reading it for a book club, but it just didn’t get any better for me and I found the ending to be unsatisfying as well πŸ“š Hoping my next T. Kingfisher book I read will be more my taste πŸ’š
