really enjoyed the pacing and build of of the story. Was sucked in and finished 90% of the book  in 2 days. Fir the most part, this book was exactly what I was expecting and wanted

But I found the ending extremely underwhelming.

The epitome of everything I love about Sci-Fi

Perfect ending to the beginning of a series. Loved every page of it.
The world building continued to blow my mind throughout the whole story.

If you had told me a year ago that I would be completely and utterly obsessed with everything Dune related in exactly one year. I would not have believed it for a second. I hadn't even watched the first film until a week before the release of part two. Yet, after watching Part Two in theatres, I purchased the book a few days later. And finished all 800 pages in under 2 weeks.

This is coming from a movie guy who, until January of the year, hadn't read a full book in over 3 years.

Yet, with Dune, I couldn't help myself but fly through it.
Will most likely remain one of my favourite books for quite some time.
