Loved this way more than i expected too. Originally picked it up simply because i want to read Blatty's Legion.

Went in expecting some terrifying horror, while i didn't get that, did still LOVE the story.

Every chapter from Kinderman or Karras' perspective was so well written i didn't even pay attention to the pages or how long it took me to read their parts. Both are incredibly intricate, intelligent, and compelling characters. Easily the best part of the novel.

Honestly didn't care too much for Chris or Raegan

I loved imagining how the machine looked so much that I drew 3 different versions of it after finishing.

A wonderful introduction to the work of Kafka. Intrigues me enough to want to read a lot more of his work.

An overall haunting depiction of alienation and loneliness. That can also feel all too relatable at times.

Decided to read after watching the film adaptation 3 times because of how much I enjoyed it.

And I'm pleased to say that the book is even better.
