What a wild ride. This was a short, quick read, no fluff (well actually....). All puns aside this was so good. We all have something we fear. I can see how puppets are scary and this book made me feel that. Laying in bed at night reading this made me want to leave a light on incase there are puppets in my walls. I felt the loss of grandpa, as well. Very creative l, and the after note was wonderful. I loved how he explained his fear of puppets, loss of family members, and just being weird.

This book was gut wrenching for me. I felt her pain of searching for Monday and no one helping or believing her. The struggles of balancing school, lack of friends, parents, etc it just felt very real. I would definitely reccomend this book for adults as well, since it's marked as YA.

I listened to the audiobook based on a reccomendation. I think I was confused by all the characters at first but got a grip quickly. I feel like there should have a been a lot more of "show dont tell" in this book. Some things were spelled out too much, and some things were pretty obvious due to this. However I did enjoy and was trying to figure out the twist but did not.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 2%.
I loved the idea of this book. However, the pen name of her mother being an anagram for Revenge, the number of times it was said in what felt like every sentence was making me crazy. Everything was so over explained I just had to stop.

Listening to this audiobook I felt confused. I couldnt tell what was really happening, who was real, and was I gaslighting myself? I liked the third person POV. I really enjoyed how no one believed her, she was constantly gas lit and it was infuriating. However I found myself thinking the same thing...this woman has to be seeing something no one else is. Is she mentally unstable? Is anything real? I did feel it was dragging in some parts, but overall a good story.

I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it. This book had me feeling all types of ways. Izzy being pregnant by her bipolar teacher was painful. I remember being a young girl dating someone older and constantly making excuses for their behavior. However when she signed up for the infinite family project I was very creeped out by the way it was ran. I can appreciate the idea, one big happy family, but that's not how humans are. Maybe on some levels the project made sense, but others just felt doomed from the start. I really enjoyed this audiobook and can't wait to read more by this author.

I often go into books blind or nearly blind. I knew this book was going to be about pregnant women, and them being "farmed" in some way. (Just using context clues from the title and book cover) I thought it would be something like Meat by Joseph D'Lacey. But it wasn't, and at first i thought I was disappointed it wasn't a gore story, but my opinion changed. I thought about how the women are exploited to be used as surrogates, mostly due to the need for money. This was a sad tale and the authors note at the end had me feeling extra sad.

This was a wild ride. I had different ideas about what would happen, but didn't guess. I was pleasantly surprised by what happened, enjoying this book. I willnread more by this author.

First off, I emailed the author very early on in the book. Liek a madwoman, I was concerned Ben didn't know the sour cream and onion pringles weren't vegan. I just read the words wrong, and Ben did know and didn't eat them.

Was this book weird? Yes. An apocalyptic story about a severly obese man and his dog Brown, how much weirder can it get? Well, quite a bit.

Were some parts unbelievable or far fetched? Sure. We do often see wild things happen in books and movies in dystopian times.

Also when Ben was chatting with his doctor about being full and nauseated after just a few bites of food I said me too Ben. I have gastroparesis. Welp, the doctor thought Ben may have had it as well. Is this relevant? No. Just a fact about me.

Overall I would reccomend and I am starting on the second book now.

I went in knowing nothing about this story and I am glad I did. I listened to the audiobook and it went so quick. I dont want to say anything as to not give anything away, but I do recommend for a mysterious, unsettling read.
