Disappointed

That's the only way I can describe this story. The author led the reader by the nose and then left so many unanswered questions. I'm disappointed.

Not a bad short read

I enjoyed book two in this series. On to the next one. I can't wait to see the bigger picture.

Not bad

I'm on book three. I'm anxiously awaiting the endgame. In the meantime, the book fodder is good. Can't wait to see what's next.

Wow!

Well that was a very climactic ending, well the ending to the big mystery. I don't want to spoil it. I'll just say, hold on to your breeched. It's gonna be a wild ride!

A little predictable

It was an okay read. Just a bit predictable though. It felt as if the author was leading the reader by the nose a bit. Still, not a bad read.

It was okay

It was okay. Kind of predictable after a certain point. But I'm invested in the story now. So on to the next one.

It was good until it wasn't.

The plot was good. Things were intense. And then the climax fell flat. I did not like the way things came to a head. It seemed rushed, like the author just wanted to be done with the story.

Not bad.

I liked this one, too. But how many people are after this couple? Good grief! Lol I like Mason, and I'm happy Ava was doing the rescuing this time.

Not bad

This was a decent read. It was kind of crazy how the killer made the cops look like amateurs. Some of the things the cops and Jack did toward the end were obviously stupid. But anything to move the story along I suppose. On to the next one.

I liked the story. It was cute, fun, and quirky: all the things a romance should be. However, I didn't particularly like how no one addressed the fact that a grown man was having a sexual relationship with the Hero's underage niece. It's like they talked about it, but never did anything about it. He should have been in jail.

When we read books, we're looking for fantasies. Some things about the Hero left nothing to fantasize about. However, he was a good and honorable man, so it was what it was. All in all, I give this book 3-pages (think 3-stars).
