Really descriptive and well-writren story. All of the characters introduced at all points were intertwined well into the story. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a cute, relaxed slow burning love story.

However, the ending shocked me. It was the opposite of what I ever expected and left me with many overwhelming emotions. This book will not fail in making the reader feel something.

A well-written sociology research book on education with in-depth insight on the current failing education system in the UK.

It is truly a tragedy how the education system currently works and sets up pupils for a life of failure. I recommend this book to anyone wishing to learn more about the dark side of the education system as Diane Reay covers it really well with first-hand opinions of real students, metadata analyses and longitudinal studies all written in an organised, formal yet interesting way.

Incredibly well written book which made me tear up more times than I'd like to admit. This array of short stories had me questioning how I want things to be in my life and what I should fulfill before my time runs out. It taught me to treat people with more respect and kindness.

I recommend everyone to read this book as it is interesting and will definitely have an impact, even a small one, on your way of viewing people and their troubles.

I normally love Robin Cook's stories as he is an amazing author with unique ideas, but this book was not worth it. If you wish to read his books, there are better options.

This story used characters which I've seen in previous books which surprised me (this isn't a pro or a con, just a general comment.) This story was incredibly slow paced and only unfolded within the last few pages, making it quite boring and feeling as if there was an abundance of filler chapters. The title is also misleading as you'd expect something more tense and world-stopping. I still enjoy Robin Cook's books, but this one was not it.

This series might just be one of my favourite book series out there. Higson really does have a creative mind, putting unspeakable situations into a whole story. This book is gory, detailed, sad and amusing all at the same time. This series is one I'd recommend to all who think they can handle the challenge.

The only reason I took .5 stars off is because, although still an amazing book, I feel that this might be my least favourite one from the series. It seems as if Higson took all of his last other-worldly ideas and shoved them all into one book for the sake of a story. Other than that, he still phrased all of these ideas and connected them in a nice way.

Amazing. This book brought out emotions in me that I didn't imagine I could feel. It send chills through my body while reading about the detailed thoughts and feelings the main character had. I truly never wanted to put this book down, and sacrificed many hours of sleep to read it))

This is the second book that I read from this series and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the fast-paced constant action, the diverse personalities of all the children, the plot and the descriptive language!

This book is a good choice for people who love to be kept on edge and are prepared to cry!

This story was incredibly mysterious, leaving me wanting to read more and more. I always love how Robin Cook manages to combine medicine with thriller in his books.

The characters were, as always, loveable and all had distinct personalities. Robin Cook has an amazingly creative mind and I recommend this book to all.

The only reason that I took away .25 stars was because there were a few characters introduced that made it seem like they'd be seen later on in the story, only to never appear again. The book also ends on a cliffhanger, leaving you to your own interpretation.

I think the book I read was badly translated from French to English, so the sentence structure and words were confusing, ruining the experience of the book. The idea of the book was nice though
