I normally love Robin Cook's stories as he is an amazing author with unique ideas, but this book was not worth it. If you wish to read his books, there are better options.

This story used characters which I've seen in previous books which surprised me (this isn't a pro or a con, just a general comment.) This story was incredibly slow paced and only unfolded within the last few pages, making it quite boring and feeling as if there was an abundance of filler chapters. The title is also misleading as you'd expect something more tense and world-stopping. I still enjoy Robin Cook's books, but this one was not it.
