I really like this and I didn’t mind the pregnancy because that is a real thing that could happen. I just couldn’t get over how their first interaction was when he was having sex with another girl

I hate that I'm going with the majority of the ratings for this book, but having this be the first romance book I finished after reading the masterpiece that was The Seven Year Slip it shows the start contrast between the two. Unfortunately, this one pales in comparison. Literally nothing happened during it, but I did understand and appreciate why it felt like Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls.

I love the mental health presentation in this book, narcissistic, personality disorder, and disassociative identity. However, the mystery part of it kind of fell flat for me.
the fact that both disappearances didn’t have any real connection to one another didn’t make sense. It would’ve made more sense if after Cass told Emma she was pregnant Emma told her they needed to run away. The mother caught them in the act and in an attempt to stop them her and Emma got into a fight, resulting in Emma falling from the balcony.

I have read novellas with insta love before, but nothing quite as fast as this. One minute, she's being ordered to kill Calypso and the next their girlfriends, pledging to move to the underworld to live together. It was like emotional whiplash. If this would maybe be a full novel it would be more understandable

This was the best book I've read in the past few weeks which I was honestly surprised by because I didn't really like the first novel I read by this author. I loved every single second of it. You could genuinely tell that the two characters were soulmates. I relate to both of them so much. I would give anything to be back with my grandparents in my home that I grew up in with them, but I know that's not possible.
the fact that she got one final moment with her aunt was beautiful and I wish we could've seen it. I probably would have cried.
. I would love for this to be a movie one day and I have a feeling it would be my favorite.

This would have been five stars but the misunderstanding and the resolution with the doctor kind of knocked it down
