read for class and absolutely loved it. took a bit for me to get really into it but i’m already looking into reading the sequel. incredibly vivid world building and lovable characters that each had their own arcs and development.

had to read this for class and was reminded at how enjoyable the tale actually is! quick and easy read, feel like i enjoyed it more on a reread than i did when i read it back in middle school.

this was an incredibly fun read! not nearly as horrifying as i was kind of hoping it would be, but still plenty of parts that had me on the edge of my seat, hoping my favorite characters would make it out alive. far funnier than it was scary, but still a great time to be had overall.

yet another touching story from one of the best graphic novelists i’ve ever had the pleasure to read. seeing how much kabi grows between her works is incredibly uplifting and reassuring. i always hope for the best for her when i read each work! this one did feel like it was on the shorter side of her other works, ideally i would have loved more insight and depth into some of her thoughts, but overall i really enjoyed it.

read this for class and am so incredibly glad i did because i would never have picked it up otherwise. the most interesting parts for me are the flashbacks at the end, which i wish had taken up more of the story at large. overall a really interesting novel, but one that i wish had done more with its focus on the past.
