DON'T TOUCH ME I'M SCREAMING.
THIS BOOK WRECKED ME. I SHOULDNT HAVE STARTED READING IT BECAUSE OF FINALS. I SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER.
I WAS CONSUMED BY THE STORY AND THE CHARACTERS AND I WANT TO SCREAM.

I'M NOT GOING TO PASS OSTEOLOGY BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK. IF THAT'S NOT RECOMMENDATION ENOUGH, I DONT KNOW WHAT IS.

I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR FOR THE NEXT BOOK.

I can definitely see why people are calling this complete fan fiction. It's all a bit far fetched. But its also Harry Potter, so is it really?

It was really nice to read about the Golden Trio again and their children. It was so wonderful to be back in the Wizarding World, facing new problems and seeing how thongs have changed. I'm sad we won't get to go back to see more of Harry and his family, but I'm happy to leave them behind when they're happy.

Thank you, JK Rowling for this last little story about Harry.

I'm not entirely sure I'm ready to mark this read. If I mark it as read, that's it, it's over, no more book until next year. Sarah J Maas feeds my muse. I'm sad that I have to wait until May for a new book from her.

She's apparently decided to have no mercy on her readers though. That ending. God.

I love this series so much. The world and The magic system are so unique and cool. I've never read anything like it.

I love the characters and their dynamics. There's a lot of them hovering in the moral gray area that I love so much. There are no true heroes or villains, only people who believe they're doing the right thing even when it might be wrong.

I can't wait to see what Josephine Angelini comes up with next.

My tiny heart is broken but its fine. I feel like there's another leg to this story but I'm excited to see what Leigh puts out next. I honestly can't wait. This series was such a masterpiece. I laughed and cried and I don't think I'll ever forget this series. Its definitely among my all time favorites. Its going to be so hard to let go. But no mourners, no funerals.

I was hooked after chapter 3. The world was so interesting and well built and I loved the power dynamics. I loves the MC and all of the supporting characters. This is not a coherent review help me. I just loved this book a lot.

I spent a hot minute debating the rating I was going to put on this book. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. But I had some major problems with it.

Upsides: fast paced, intriguing, some fun characters, hella diverse, queer characters, just the right amount of mystery to keep you going

Downsides: drug addiction/dealing talked about casually, instalove, cheating, borderline incest

I'll talk about the good first. This book was so diverse. It had characters of all colors and ethnicities and orientations. The book is 450 pages but it passes quickly. The mystery of the prologue drives you to the end because you need to know who fell.

Now for the things I didn't like.

I found a few of the characters to be very whiny and over dramatic. Others very fun to read about. There was character growth for one of the whiny, dramatic characters but another just continued to get more annoying and I had a hard time tolerating her.

And then there was the cheating element. I HATE this in YA books. Its not a good introduction to what's supposed to be a healthy relationship for the character.

And the very strange borderline incest. It was uncomfortable af to read about. I was curious to see how it played out though and I can't say I'm pleased. I was rooting for someone else.

All in all, it was a really long set up novel for the sequel. Which I will likely be reading. After about 200 pages, my enjoyment went up so much more as characters finally began to change. Its definitely not a book for everyone.
