not even gonna lie. i read the series completely backwards, starting with this book. it kinda strikes me as a filler book??? compared to the pumpkin spice cafe and the cinnamon bun book store but i still enjoyed it more than the cinnamon bun book store. it was a quick read and i enjoyed it.

I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars. 1 star taken off for the racism (man what the hell)
before the girlies come after me, i still enjoyed it and no i do not care if it's an ancient book written during the ages of mesopotamia!
