the book that got me obsessed with memoirs.
but the back of the book LIED like nobody's business. i was NOT laughing, i was very much uncomfortable, as i should be!
whoever said it made them laugh needs to square up i'm so serious

you know literally exactly what's going to happen in the book yet it's so engaging to read

didnt read the parts other than the pages describing the actual seductive archetypes (isn't that what we're all here for) but lord were the other pages boring. robert i need you to be so serious right now

skimmed through to write all the laws down in my notebook and ignored the rest

almost DNF'd and ended up loving it

very powerful book. open your eyes before you read it and accept the reality of how women have been and still are treated throughout history before ranting about how it "paints men in a bad light" (they do that themselves)

one of those books that get soooo much better as your read it
just give it a chance

diana was unfortunately insufferable

i will feel quite haunted by this book for a while
