Bloom by Elizabeth Scott
4.0
I have to admit that after some of the reviews I read about this story I was almost apprehensive to read it. I feared it would sorely disappoint. But I am happy to report it did nothing of the sort. In fact I couldn't put this book down until I finished it completely.
I will admit that there were some things Lauren did that I do not support, like cheating on her boyfriend and leading him on. And the way she treated her best friend at times. However, she redeemed herself afterward. In the end she did the right thing. She made amends for her actions. Most people don't even do that. She even offered to help Katie (her best friend) out with her problems plenty of times throughout the book and she rejected the help. She did try.
I also felt especially sorry for Lauren when reading about her mother. I even found myself getting teary eyed at some parts of it. Elizabeth Scott did a great job of making me sympathize with her character. That is called good writing.
I will be looking out for more of her books.

Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I really loved this book. And I loved how it led into Opposition (Book 5).
Hunter and Serena are so perfect together. I really hope Serena and Katy meet in Opposition. That would be interesting to read. Hopefully Daemon can hold it together long enough to not attack Hunter again. I'm secretly hoping they'll be friends. Or at least allies.
I'm going to go crazy waiting for the next book!!! How will I ever make it until the end of August 2014?
Come on Jennifer! At least give us some snippets of Opposition to hold us over. Please.

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare

Wow. What an amazing book. Just like all the others I'm left in awe. Cassandra Clare really knows how to write a story that consumes you. I'm now anxious to read the final installment of The Mortal Instruments series and it's going to be such a long wait. I'm counting the days until it's release.
Fall From Grace by Christine Zolendz

I really enjoyed this book. It was very interesting and unique. The only reason it didn't get five stars was because Grace really annoyed me a few times but other than that it was great.
Saving Grace by Christine Zolendz

I loved this book. It was just as good as the first one and...
(spoiler alert!!!)
Shane and Grace finally got together! Took them long enough. I'm especially happy that Shane was her soul mate all along. I was afraid he was truly someone else. I suspected he was her soul mate though after he told her he remembered everything.
There were two things I didn't like about the book.
The first being he didn't tell her who he was when she woke up from her coma. And the second, he didn't correct Grace after she accused him of being with Bliss. He didn't even try to deny it until way later. (Not cool!)
Anyway, other than that, it was amazing.
