I really wanted to like this... but really didn't. I listened to it on audio and was drawn to it given Elijah Wood's participation and I am a fan of the genre (and a recent reader of my first Alex Cross book). But I just couldn't get engaged with this book. I hadn't read the first 2 but I don't think that was the issue as the story does include enough backstory that you aren't lost about the characters or where they are in the story arc...

still love all series Patterson but some of the cheesy teenager lines got to me on this one. Still a great concept though!

A nice little conclusion to a fun series. Great for a quick, action-packed, easy read!

Very interested in what the rest of this series has in storeespecially with The One villain supposedly dead. The best paced and finished up a lot of bits very mad about no happy thing with Celia. The best book of the series so far.

Again, slightly better than the last one. Unfortunately not as great as I remember.

There is a lot going on in this book and some of it got a little confusing at times. I did really enjoy seeing how Whit and Wisty grew and developed as people and members of the resistance. It is always fun to be able to follow characters through a series and see how they change. I love the touches of punnery that Patterson throws in there throughout the series. It is a great read that really brings the trilogy to a satisfactory close. Now I'm confused about where you go in the fourth book. I guess I'll find out when I read it.
