It's pretty dandy! I was confused from where the last book ended to where this one began. But it was still action-packed and beautifully romantic for being extremely fast paced.

Before anything else, I just want to say that I'm reviewing this book from the perspective of my 12 year old self who got this book from a friend for Christmas. When I first discovered that this was the third book in the series, I was dismayed because that meant buying the first two books and I didn't have the money for that (also, I didn't have internet access to pirate ebooks). Nonetheless, I went ahead and read the book. Funnily enough, I clearly remembered still understanding the lore that was laid out in the first two pages despite not having read them. This book has a high rating because this was the first book I've ever read that gave me butterflies in my stomach while reading it. Sue me for rating this book because of sentimentality but it is what it is.

Okay, this series wasn't the greatest series of books by James Patterson thay I've ever read, sad to say.
It was kind of a dull storyline & a bit of a dull ending. I'm sure Patterson could have taken it somewhere with the series. But it IS an interesting read. I might be prepared for a little disappointment, if I were you.
But, then again, we all have different opinions! (:

I really liked this book in the series, the only problem that I had with it was the characters lack of ability to realize that certain people were dead...just because they can go visit them in another realm does not mean they can necessarily come home with you...

It's been a great series so far. A lot of action great detail. Now I'm read for The Kiss to come out in Feb.

This is the third installment in the Witch and Wizard series and is as engrossing as the previous two as we are taken deeper into the world run by the New Order and discover the lengths and depths the One Who is the One will go to to get what he wants. We also find out a lot more about Whit and Wisty's parents and their ultimate fates. Once again Patterson uses shorter chapters to keep the story moving and to keep the reader engrossed and it works well throughout, as it does in the previous installments. Another excellent book that you can't help but keep reading, even as a supposed grown-up.

THIS TOOK FOREVER!! It got to the point where I had renewed it so many times at the library that I actually ran out of times I could renew it. I had to bring it it, check it in and then check it back out, and then renew THAT again.

and can I just say FINALLY THE ONE IS DEAD! yay!!
