This is actually my first K Bromberg book and I absolutely adored it. It was an easy 5 star book for me. The spice in this book is completely out of this world. Sutton and Callahan are absolutely perfect together. The chemistry is tangible and you can feel it sizzle, pop and boil over. It makes you crave turning to the next page over and over. I can not wait to read the next book in this series and am so lucky to have received a complimentary copy for review. I cant wait to try out more K Bromberg books!

Last Resort
S.I.N. Series, Book 1
By: K. Bromberg
Narrated by: Stella Hunter, Aaron Shedlock
Out with her best friend after finally dumping the no good boyfriend, Sutton enjoys a night of no names and incredible passion. Now embarking on a new mission, she is off to tackle the rebranding and revitalization of a hotel only to find that she is working with that no name man! Callahan Sharpe, one of the Sharpe triplets is the one heading up this project as it was his decision to purchase. And our fun begins. Sutton is level headed, smart and ambitious, but when it comes to Callahan, all bets are off. Callahan has plans and they don't include a woman or his brothers. After this renovation, he is out! But these two are in for a surprise. Not only do they get along in bed, but their working relationship and after hours time proves there is much more to them than meets the sizzle. Sutton is fantastic. I love seeing her grow and gain the confidence she always had but never put forward. Callahan is the black sheep of the triplets and once he discovers his real strength, his life is taking the turn it needs. I love the family dynamic as well as learning the history. This is a fantastic listen and great start to the series.
Making this story even better is the casting of Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock. This team is fantastic. Hunter as Sutton brings out not only the sensual side of her, but treats us to her growing belief in herself and in Callahan. Her nuances are key to this character and shine giving us an amazing personality. Shedlock, the broody, dark Callahan, finds a way to make the light shine in him. He is definitely a man with layers, and slowly as they are peeled, Shedlock gives him the inflections to let us see him clearly. An incredible listen and one that should not be missed.

Callahan and Sutton are people who have been hurt deeply. Callahan lost both of his parents and he feels like he needs to travel and do what he wants to do in order to be free and not tied down. He doesn't want to be responsible for his family legacy. He feels that his brothers are better at it than he is. Until Sutton comes into the picture and they discover together what he really needs.
Sutton, after a one night stand, never expects to see the guy again. However, she sees him the next day as his new consultant on a project. She wants to know where he stands and is upset he didn't call her after finding out they were going to be working together. When they get to the resort things don't turn out the way they thought it would. They end up so much better.
When we first meet Callahan I thought he was a play boy, who didn't take his job seriously and that was why his brother's were upset with him. Once we get to know him we find out that is not the case at all. Sutton is working hard to get her promotion and wants to do a good job on restoring the resort. Callahan and Sutton make a great team. I really enjoyed these characters, I was glad that this story was realistic and we see their heartbreak and feel it along with them. I needed a few tissues. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to getting to know more about his two brothers.

Workplace/rich owner romance. Triplets own the company, and one brother is the focus of this story. I don't think I will continue with stories about the other brothers, but this was good enough while I was reading it.
