This book is like taking a mini-vacation to a tropical island with all the swoony romance vibes! It’s fun, sexy, and emotional—classic K. Bromberg magic.

What I Loved:
- Sutton and Callahan: Their chemistry is off the charts from the very beginning. A one-night stand that turns into a forced-proximity workplace romance? Yes, please! I loved how Sutton stood her ground and didn’t let Callahan’s charm or smirk distract her from her goals (well, not for too long anyway

What happens when you finally get rif of a horrible le boyfriend and decided to have a one night stand from a very sexy stranger. Thrn the next morning you have a new client meeting with a billionaire hotel business partners to see the man you slept with not...but than 2 other men that are identical. Yep Sutton one night stand ends up being an identical triplet and she has to go on site and live at one of their hotels now with one of them but doesn't know which one....
Callahan is the brother that was always favored by his dad due to he reminds him of his mother so her brothers ford and ledger thinks he's a lazy man and he has one last obligation before he leaves the company now that his father is dead. This had some great black sheep vibes and I loved that Sutton didn't know who her mystery man was for a little bit. The tension was so so good and I like the character development. This was a quick read or listen kinda hoped for a little bit more but I'm sure she will vo tinur throughout the brothers.

The big question that Sutton asks Callahan. What’s in it for ME? and that’s the question that looms thru this intense romance.

What starts as a one night stand where real names are not exchanged, turns into an awkward, sexually charged working relationship. They were never supposed to see each other again! That certainly changed. I loved the intense banter back and forth between project manager Sutton Pierce and billionaire Callahan Sharpe. They are working to bring a struggling resort up to par for the Sharpe International Network (S.I.N.) and they struggle with mistakes and regrets from their pasts as they play a push and pull game of wanting to relive their one night stand. Sutton won’t give into Callahan’s charms. Instead she says “what’s in it for me”. If he can’t answer that ambiguous question… no sex. Wow does Callahan struggle with this.

I loved reading how Sutton discovers her strength and what she deserves after having an emotionally abusive ex boyfriend. Callahan, the womanizer, the emotionally evasive man, surprisingly helps Sutton see what she really deserves. Callahan just can’t accept he may have real feelings for Sutton. His struggles, their struggles, melt your heart.

I enjoyed the difficult, resentment in the brothers’ relationship. It felt real. There was jealousy over how each were treated differently by their father. There was anger. And their fights? Your heart will clench like Callahan’s did. His brothers treat him like a screw up and him trying to prove them wrong is heartfelt and at times, heartbreaking.

I also appreciated Sutton’s best friend, Lizzy, and her honesty and consistent support of her friend. Their conversations were wonderful and showed such a healthy friendship.

There’s so much to this book. I loved it all! And the ending? The answer Callahan finds to Sutton’s question “what’s in it for me?” is everything and more.

I've always been quite a fan of K. Bromberg's books, they've definitely become one of my go-to/comfort reads. And I'll never turn down their books, but I'll be honestly, I had no idea we were getting a new series. I love her series when there's family ties in it and here we have the Sharpe brothers.

Last Resort was a solid 4 for me, really loved listening to this on audio, both new to me narrators that did such a great job. I truly hope they'll be back to narrate the rest of this series.

The tension was soooo good between Sutton and Callahan, truly, it was so great. And I liked that Sutton didn't give into Callahan so easily. It was actually nice to read a sort of workplace romance, where it wasn't constantly crossing lines.

I'm not sure how I feel about Callahan's brothers yet, there's definitely some strain, which gets better by the end. But looking forward to see them all together in the books to come.

I recommend picking up the audio!
