Last Resort by K. Bromberg

4.0

I've always been quite a fan of K. Bromberg's books, they've definitely become one of my go-to/comfort reads. And I'll never turn down their books, but I'll be honestly, I had no idea we were getting a new series. I love her series when there's family ties in it and here we have the Sharpe brothers.

Last Resort was a solid 4 for me, really loved listening to this on audio, both new to me narrators that did such a great job. I truly hope they'll be back to narrate the rest of this series.

The tension was soooo good between Sutton and Callahan, truly, it was so great. And I liked that Sutton didn't give into Callahan so easily. It was actually nice to read a sort of workplace romance, where it wasn't constantly crossing lines.

I'm not sure how I feel about Callahan's brothers yet, there's definitely some strain, which gets better by the end. But looking forward to see them all together in the books to come.

I recommend picking up the audio!
