Cast was good, but kind of boring and the writing was kind of cheesy.

Absolutely amazing listen “read” as it’s an audio book. The narriative, character development, and overall pace of the audio book is amazing.

Not the strongest of stories, but I love the idea of these. More original audio dramas, please!

We covered the ins and out of Trek books over on this vintage episode of Howe's Things: https://soundcloud.com/allthebooks/episode-230-picard-and-the-next-generation

I really enjoyed this! It's definitely an audio drama and not an audiobook (no real POV, no description, lots of sound effects) and way too short for my taste, and the editing/pacing seemed a bit too quick at times, but I loved seeing the relationship between these two fleshed out a little more in the gap between seasons 1 and 2 of the show. I just wish they hadn't sidelined them so badly in season 3.

Not a bad book by any means. There were a few things that could’ve been improved but it was certainly an enjoyable experience. I liked getting to see the Seven and Raffi’s relationship develop and get a little more attention. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but I wound up enjoying this quite a bit. The plot lost me for a little while, but it was solid and held up nicely. I can’t tell if I was uninterested in it because it wasn’t interesting, or if I was just way more invested in the characters I already knew reconciling for a fight in which they were both somehow correct or if it just went over my head a little bit. This is definitely an audiobook I would recommend to anyone who liked seasons 1&2 of Picard.

SEVEN of NINE fans will enjoy this audiobook:
- Fenris Rangers centric story;
- bridges the #Saffi relationship gap between Picard season 1 and season 2.

You'll also get to listen to SEVEN read a few love letters!

First time listening to an audiobook and I really enjoyed it, especially with Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd as a part of the book.
