3.75/5 so cuteeee omg.

This was pretty enjoyable and I loved our couple Brenna and Rye.
The epilogue was very nice, I mean who doesn't love a good pair.

Rye and Brenna know each other for years, he is the bassist of the group while she handles the pr, they have a relationship based on animosity.
One night Rye overhears a confession from Brenna and he takes it upon him to provide a solutions to her problem while also making a lifetime deal with her.
They don't want to disturb the group dynamic which is why they agree to keep their relationship a secret.
Between secret meetings they found out they have more than amazing chemistry, they open up and share hidden aspects of themselves which make it difficult to act like they don't care for the other on public.
I loved how devoted and caring Rye was. He took a risk more than once, he was a true sweetheart. Brenna is more reserved, opening up isn't easy for her especially since she was burned in the past.
The plot was engaging and the romance was in the center of it. I had a wonderful time reading this book.
*I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

Brenna and Rye…they’re finally giving in to the feelings they’ve had for each other, and it’s an amazing thing to experience with them. Romantic, sexy, and just all the swoon. I wanted to knock some sense into them both and that means I really was invested! I couldn’t love this story more!

I listened to the first three books in this series on audiobook, and from the first time Rye and Brenna were together, sniping at each other, I knew I wanted their book. Luckily, Exposed released just weeks after I finished listening to Managed, so I didn't have long to wait!
Kristen Callihan knows these characters so well, and makes them so real that they jump off the page to yell at you. It's overwhelming and amazing and so so much joy to read.
Rye is the bassist for Kill John, the biggest rock band in the world, and Brenna is their PR manager. They've known each other for years and bickered constantly. Brenna is aloof and guarded, and Rye is the "fun guy". (Almost grumpy-sunshine, except they are both so much more nuanced than that.) When Rye overhears Brenna confessing that she is craving intimacy without strings, he knows he wants to be the one to satisfy all of her cravings.
However, what they both know but neither want to admit is that what's between them is so much more than physical, if they can only be brave enough to ask for it.
AAAA the pining and longing in this book tore me apart! Callihan does such a great job putting so much in to her books and unpacking such difficult themes so deftly! She doesn't pull punches, and it's wonderful.
I loved this book, would definitely recommend!

Catching up on writing my reviews for books I read a while ago. Haha... *nervous sweats*
From what I've seen, I'm most likely in the minority here. I thought this was just okay. Like a solid 3 star read.
I can't exactly pinpoint why this didn't work for me, but for some reason, this didn't have the same magic the other 3 had, even though this utilizes one of my favorite romance tropes, friends-with-benefits. I think it partially has to do with the fact that I didn't enjoy Rye's perspective most of the time. Not because I disagreed with his actions or what he says, but because of how he was written.
And I'm actually a little disappointed since we waited around 3 years for its release. There was a ton of build-up in the other books for Rye and Brenna's story as well.
