من خیلی نتونستم با قلم مترجم کنار بیام.
احتمالا بعدا نسخه‌ی انگلیسی این کتاب رو هم بخونم تا راضی بشم.

Short stories about otherness, aloneness and about being unable to express oneself - silence and communication failure are key themes through all these stories. It's the first Camus I've read and I don't think it'll be the last. The style reminds me a little of Joseph Conrad.

What does it mean to be? Am I an individual or do I exist through my community? And how absurd is it that life is just a series of making choices.

Jeez, Camus. I don’t know if there exists a kingdom in which we don’t feel exiled, but I guess that’s all we’re looking for at the end of the day.

If you’re considering reading this, I’d recommend waiting until after you’ve read his more popular works. I had to sit with each of the short stories and really think before moving onto the next.

Again I will say, I love you Albert Camus.

I am a sucker for anything Camus. The true beauty of humanity and the absurd struggle of being one in this world.

This was my first time reading this amazing author's Nobel Prize Winning Work. Why I will still put the Plague above it, this is an amazing work of short stories and I will definitely read it again.
