What is there not to love about Doyle's writing? He does an excellent job describing the relationships and quirks of Sherlock and Watson. I love how he portrays their relationship and how it came to fruition. I also enjoyed reading about the backstory of the person behind the murder. I won't go into to much detail due to spoilers, but just know that it all connects and works nicely in this short story. Looking forward to reading more in this series!

I could have done without the middle section. But, I don't think I've ever read a Sherlock story that I didn't like....

A wonderful Sherlock Holmes story of love, murder, and of course, Sherlock's brilliant deducing skills. What a great short read that catches the readers attention with every word!
