the second installment in Pennys story didn’t disappoint

Continuing on from book 1/4, we get even more fun and excitement, and of course Reagan. Watching Reagan and Penny’s relationship develop is hysterical, the perfect depiction of opposites attract, even as friends. And we finally learn Penny’s mom’s name which is just perfect no can’t wait to see what happens next

I really am ready to be done with these 3 books in the series. I dislike this natural witch. She's annoying, whiny and ridiculous. And her constant complaining about Emory. Where is he, i need him, he makes me better, I'm alone. KMN

Love penny and emery. Penny is still so innocent and caring while on her journey. Reagen is so much fun and we learn quite a few things about her in this book too. We see more into the politics of the magical world and a few hints of what the future will bring. I thought that penny and emery were going to be my favorite pairing in this series but it is definitely reagen and penny together. They are so much fun and I laugh at all the trouble the two of them could get into. This is becoming one of my favorite series.

Pure genius

I've always loved Reagan, but Penny and Reagan together are the best pairing ever. I couldn't stop laughing even when the situation was serious, I'm still laughing.
KF Breene is a genius at doing such scenes in which the storyline is amazing and the comedy is just pure genius.
Loved it, and highly recommend it.

"Clearly this is why Reagan and I work as a team. Because I don't know any better, and she's cracked."

I found the start slow but once Reagan arrives, the fun well and truly begins! I loved seeing her from someone else's perspective and her dynamic with Penny is so entertaining.

In fact, all of the characters are amazing. As usual, Penny (and her mother!) had me cracking up, and I was definitely excited to see more of some old characters.

Romance, humour, action, and lots and lots of magic. What's not to like?
