I can't believe I have come to the conclusion of The Witcher series, I really don't want to be over! I really truly enjoyed this series as a whole.

The portions about Geralt and Ciri were great. Other parts felt irrelevant and boring.

The last couple of chapters were page turners!

It took me forever to get through this book. It just dragged on with more and more characters.

If there ever is such a title as a perfect book. A book so perfect, so excellent. A book that begins and ends so masterfully. A book that did everything right. A book that can make you laugh and then make you mourn. A book that can make you morose that it is over but also jubilant that it existed. Well, Andrzej Sapkowski is the author of that book. And that book is Lady of the Lake. Never have I read (and probably never again will read) a book this superb, so magnificent, so exquisite.

Lady of the Lake is something that a lot of book sagas struggle with - an ending. Sapkowski's genius doesn't falter at doing what is probably the hardest part of writing - ending something. I can go on and on but I don't think that Goodread's character limit can handle all the good things I can say about this masterpiece. All the things I've loved about the previous books and more just combined to create an experience that I'm sad I can't go through for the first time again. Hands down The Witcher saga is one of, if not the best, book series that exist in this world, it certainly is the best fantasy ever written to date (from my experience, but most definitely true nonetheless).

It was an absolute nightmare of a book that finishes what the previous two volumes had set to do: diluting a (barely) decent story established by the first book. Sapkowski has the writing skills of a horny teenager; the series is nothing but an ode woman sexualization and sterile pseudo-intellectual discussions.
