Cvareh and Arianna will forever have my heart.
“He hadn’t chosen to love her. He simply did. It had become as undeniable to him as winter’s chill and as warming to his soul as summer’s sun. Trying to do anything but love her would be like trying to halt the seasons: pointless and impossible.”

I was NOT expecting to be so thoroughly taken by this story! I binge read the entire trilogy in four days, and LOVED IT as much as I have loved literally ANYTHING else that Elise has written! I loved it so much I cannot get these characters and this world out of my head! I definitely feel that this is one of those series that will be read and re-read many times over the course of a lifetime!
Thank you for another wonderful world, Elise! ❤️

Such a fantastic ending to the Loom Saga! I love the world building that's a mix of steampunk and magic. It's so different than anything I've ever read and my only regret is not reading these sooner. I love all of the characters in the book, good and bad, because Elise does such an amazing job getting you to love every one of them. You understand their thought process and their reasoning, the character development is tremendous. There's a lot of intelligent scheming I never would have thought of. Highly recommend!

This was a fun, interesting final book in the series. I did think it was all tied up a little too easily in the end but I still enjoyed it.
It won't be a favourite that I will reread unlike the Air Awakens series but I still enjoyed Elise Kova's inventive mind and imagination.

I liked the series a lot. It was different from most "dragon" books. I found the characters lovable. It was a different kind of fantasy. More of a steam punk fantasy. There was big character growth throughout the whole series. Enemies to lovers.

I am at a loss for words.
Kova managed to surprise me several times throughout The Rebels of Gold. It was difficult—almost impossible at times—to put down the book down; Kova wasn't pulling any punches and I had no idea what was going to happen from one paragraph to the next, who was going to die, who was going to live.... The villains were ruthless and clever—but so were the heroes.
My only gripe with the series is that this is its end—I'm not ready to say goodbye! It was a fitting, satisfactory end, each character rightfully receiving their due, but I can't help but feel that there are more stories to be told. The world Kova created was so unique and fantastic—it breaks my heart that she has moved on to other projects, but I also understand and look forward to seeing where she goes next!
