A solid conclusion although this booked switched to focusing on the characters’ lives a lot more than the other books.
I did enjoy the complicated relationships and love that is complicated between people, and also that love changes and evolves.
A solid conclusion.

The last in the loom saga series didnt disappoint in terms of drama and fast paced action and the world building remained solid. However I did have a few issues with the way a few characters were developed and what felt like inconsistencies in the plot which were clearly for expediency. Spoilers below
Most of the inconsistencies were around Florence. I just failed to see how it could be justified that Florence, an staunch disciple of Arianna's suddenly turned against her and was so publicly dismissive of her with no provocation. It just didn't make sense. And then from nowhere Florence who had exhibited zero same sex attraction and was at some point somewhat attracted to Derek was suddenly somehow having a physical reaction to Derek's girlfriend and her love for her mentor was suddenly an epic romantic love (this is after she basically makes it clear she has outgrown Arianna and appears to have a veiled disdain for her behaviour post her Nova visit). Remember in book two Florence was the one to see the relationship between Arianna and Cvareh growing and at no point did we get any indication that she herself harboured romantic feelings for Arianna. In my view this felt a lot like the author had somehow forgotten that her books must explore same sex relationships and so she hurriedly tweaked the plot to accommodate this. I found it unnecessary and it took away from the flow of the book.

This series is seriously under-hyped. It's so so good. The world building is incredible. The characters are complex and lovable. Cvareh is everything 😍

Satisfying ending to Elise Kova's steampunk trilogy. I enjoyed this book about the same amount as the previous two instalments. This series is constant in that way, which means that if you liked the first book, you're going to like all three of them, or the other way around. I stil 100% prefer Air Awakens series to this, even though Loom Saga is definitely written in a superior way in comparison to Kova's first series. It's just something about this world buidling and pacing and characters (even though I did like Arianna and Cvareh, and the world was definitely interesting) that makes me feel disconnected from it all. While Air Awakens series gave me several heart attacks. On the plus side, we finall got a major f/f ship in this final instalment!
All in all, an interesting mix of steampunk, fantasy and NA with bits and pieces of typical dystopian plotline.

A great end to a great series! Like I said before, this series actually has a ton of things in it that I generally try to avoid reading [humanoid dragons, M/F enemies-to-lovers, multiple POVs, politics-heavy plots, etc] but it does them so well and I think that's the mark of a great book. There is never a POV that comes up that I want to skip and I think all of the characters feel very real and well-rounded, even the villains or the other ones that you don't necessarily want to like. I was really happy with the ending to this one and was very satisfied with where all the characters ended up. All in all just a really great series.

Why’d they have to make it weird with adding that bit a the end between Florence and Arianna???
