Rollins lives up to his reputation. This book has all the elements of excitement, science-fiction, historical references and mystery that is associated with a Sigma Force novel. A riveting read indeed.

I have really enjoyed the Sigma Force series for a long time, but this 13th edition was not a lucky read for me. I felt like Rollins spent way to much time on the inner lives of his animal protagonists. This is understandable, given that he is a veterinarian in real life, but still a little goes a long way. Between that and the truly silly complete lucky fluke that leads to the final rescue, this book's story line was the weakest in the series. Even so, I enjoy the characters and it was a good fun quick read, so worth taking in if you are into the series yourselves.

Yet another wild Sigma adventure. Travels from Hawaii to Estonia, Poland, and Japan. This one features deadly wasps reanimated from amber and biological weaponry. Suspenseful as usual.
