Terrifying and action-packed as usual. I loved seeing some tenderness and real connections between our main characters. Seichan really gets put through the ringer in this entry, and Kowalski is a close second in the short-stick draw. Tons of fun with Monk and Kat partnered up in the field and I’m so curious where we will see our Russian villain again. Fantastic breath of fresh air to the series and impeccably researched as always.

AHHHHHHH!! I can't think of a single thing to share without spoiling anything, so I'll try my best. I love that we get to see more of Kat and Monk: they are an amazing and solid team. This was an AMAZING read. I devoured it once I finally had the time to sink my teeth into it. Rollins is truly a gifted and talented writer. Superb detail, amazing attention to history and science, and this book is high intensity. Can't believe it. Once you've read his very last words, let me know your thoughts? Do we bid farewell?

This was the best Sigma Force novel I have read in quite some time. The plot was original and great. Well done Rollins!

I love the Sigma Force novels. A bit of a guilty pleasure, but still . . . this one is about the forces of evil unleashing a plague of prehistoric wasps that were preserved in amber (sort-of) and threaten to destroy the world . . .

Another absolutely fun read from Rollins... His attention to details in the biological sciences is keen, and his action sequences are enough to keep one's attention for longer than one might think.

I loved the progression through this story from the contamination of the "scene" by the potential apocalyptic biological weapon, the frantic search for means to understand and control the damage facing population, and the final conclusion bringing a viable "cure" and yet promise of more excitement soon.

There were no points in this story where it felt to me as though the author relied on a lucky guess, or a deus ex machina to resolve the conflict. His plot-points fell into place easily, and I could easily envision the action taking place throughout the story.
