Middle aged man obsessed with 16 year old version of his first love. Nasty. And the way he keeps describing this 16 year old's body yikes. I guess this is not surprising bc it's Murakami smh

De nieuwe Murakami is weer grote klasse. Ik genoot ook in dit boek van de typische schrijfstijl die de meningen verdeelt. Murakami bouwt traag op, valt veel in herhaling en blijft soms erg vaag.
Maar wat is het héérlijk langzaam, wat zijn de details die telkens terugkomen bezwerend en wat geniet ik van het magisch realisme.
Elke keer als ik aan een boek van Murakami begin, merk ik dat ik het niet kan wegleggen en blijven de personages ook hard aan mij plakken. Ik heb het boek geknuffeld bij het uitlezen, for god's sake.
