Was great revisiting this trilogy and the world of Dragonlance. Will always be special as me and my brother who passed away a few years ago read so much of this series as kids and teens. Look forward to revisiting this world more going forward.

I loved these books so much as a kid. They hold up fairly well to re-reading, I was pleasantly surprised.

Not a bad book, but too long, and not interesting enough. 1000 pages filled with meaningless conversations and too extense descriptions of mundane happenings, such as a travel from A to B where nothing happens. Yet they manage to tell "off-screen" important and potentially quite interesting adventures such as getting the Hammer of Kharas back, or the fights at Ice Wall Castle.

I remember my brother giving me this set of books when I was young. I want to say that I think I may have been in middle school at the time but I'm not to sure. This is what really got me started strong in the fantasy genre. This collection of books provides a wonderful tale filled with magic, dragons and action. I have read through the books several times over the years. I would highly recommend it to anybody that enjoys a good fantasy story.

this series, in its completion, rocked my world when I was 13 years old. Dragonlance teaches you how to be a geek, as well as a better roleplayer, and when the Annotated Chronicles came out I geeked out all over again. But there are multiple instances where the writing itself is seriously cringe-worthy, cliched and immature even for the genre. If I hadn't been immersed in the fantasy genre (and come out the other side, no less) and read it for the first time now, 12 years later, I would be bored of and condescending towards this series. Thus, the three stars- great, but loses its sheen to a reader of more advanced fiction.
