Hello Aliens!
Great story, likeable main characters and hot steamy off planet sex. Not only do we get Abby and Tarak's story, but we get the bones of the intrigue and set up for the unfolding series to come. Well written with no grammatical/spelling errors. The writing flowed well between dialogue and description. Can't wait to read the next in this series.

This was fun, I enjoyed the universe and liked that it was more space/ sci fi than some. Excited to see where the series goes.

An incredible world building for an incredible story.
Tarak is the General of the Kordolian Empire First Divison, the most fearsome race across the nine galaxies. So everyone on board of the Fortuna Tau, a small human mining station, is surprised to hear that they need their help to repair their warship, which got damaged in a fight against the Xargek. And even more surprised when he decided to take Meg, an engineer on board of Fortuna Tau, back to Kythia with him after she was injured during a Xargek attack.

This book was gooood. I loved the fact that it takes place in the future, so you do not only get to see the technological advancement of the alien species but also of planet Earth, which the big nerd in me loves. Meg was cute and brave and a great match for Tarak. He is literally the general archetype, but Meg is his first priority which I love. I can't say much about the story without spoiling it but it was such a treat.

***This book contains the first three Dark Planet Warriors books, Invasion, Taken and Escape (which were originally released as a three-part serial) in one single volume.***
This is my review for the three parts
"Dark Planet Warriors: Invasion" by Anna Carven was a delight to re-read.
I just had a compulsion to read this again, something light, easy and fun and it certainly ticked all my boxes.
In fact, I think I enjoyed it more this time around.
So a brief description of this, We have Abbey a scientist working on space station "Fortuna Tau"
when they are boarded by Kordolians large, silver-skinned, pointy-eared hotty warriors.
After a serious incident leaves Abbey in a bad way There Big Bad General Tarek whisks Abbey aboard his ship to transport back to Kythia for treatment.
The grumpy General soon becomes captivated by the little human and as his own people scheme to take her away from him. Tarek vows to protect his little human mate from all that would wish her harm.
this is a lovely tale, the general beneath his gruff exterior has a heart of gold for Abbey, and I loved how Abbey was not one of these seriously stupid girls always doing the reverse of what she was told.
She was the opposite of angsty and I found this very refreshing, made such a nice change.
So if you're looking for some light reading that's guaranteed to make you smile and also get you a bit hot under the collar.
give this a go, it's definitely worth a read.

This book was a cute, quick read. I liked the world building. It was just enough to create the picture of a new and interesting world but still leaves me with a bunch of questions. I loved the H, he's like a giant, muscular silver elf with crazy high tech armor. I thought the h was ok, not my favorite but I liked her determination.

It was a good and easy read. but be warned if like me you came for alien smut you will not get any until about halfway lol
Also SPOILER- though it’s only mentioned briefly and not a big part of story, I just thought it was cool. Mr Hunky alien had not been with previous partners (had special training though) but FMC had “experience” and described herself as a bit of a commitmentphobe- it was just a nice little role reversal from traditional tropes and yeah, though it was just brushed over and not a focal point, I found it refreshing.

I really liked this one! I thought the main man was all broody and sexy and I like the idea they are forced to learn how to pleasure a woman. Reminds me of choosing Theo. This is a 8 book series I think but I don’t think I’ll continue (although the prince in book 2 sounds sexy) I always like the first books in these types of series the most.
Good sex and no massive break up to misunderstanding. I like how confident the main character is.
3/5 on spice. 1/5 on tears. 2/5 on kink. Very quick good read with spice.
