The dialogue is so CHEESY! Not in a good way either. It’s like it was written by a 16 year old who doesn’t know how adults speak to each other. It’s like a parody of a romance.

I really enjoyed this story. There was drama with the ex but they were great together. The baby was adorable at 2 years old.

This one hit the sweet spot. I’ve been on a secret baby kick. It’s not a trope I read frequently because some of them are too angsty for me. This one was perfect though. I had one more from KU to read but I may quit while I’m ahead. I listened to the audiobook version of this on Scrib’d and enjoyed it so much. This had angsty themes but the angst between the H and h was relatively low. There was some tension in the beginning when she first approached him but he got over that pretty quickly. The rest of the book was them tackling issues together. I love that so, so much. I wish there were more books were the couple remains unshakable while handling outside problems. This little family sorely deserved their HEA.
