I received a free ARC copy in exchange for a honest review.

Ella and Marcus meet when he sweeps in to rescue her. There is an instant attraction that shocks both of them. Two years later she needs to protect her daughter, Nylah from her abusive and controlling ex husband, Jacob. She sets off to find the man she truly believes is Nylah's father, Marcus.

Ella is a fierce mama bear trying to provide for and protect her daughter. She is a tender and loving mother. Marcus is gruff, arrogant and totally focused on work. He sees no room in his life for anything else until he sees Ella again. At first I wanted to hate him. He is mean and demanding to those around him and his reaction to Ella's news about Nylah - well I wanted to kick his butt.

Eventually they become a unified team to battle Ella's ex husband. Ella, Marcus and Nylah are the sweetest family. Marcus's soft side comes out immediately upon meeting Nylah. His interactions with her, his patience and love for her are so touching. He is in awe of her.

Whenever Ella and Marcus get together, they are hot and steamy. Jolie Day writes the couple so well you can feel their love for each other. I was rooting for them and with each setback I was a little shocked and angry for them.

This book had me reading straight through as I needed to make sure the characters came out together (even though I knew it would end happy). I was worried, anxious, sad and happy - this story will give you a myriad of emotions. Billionaire Baby Daddy is a standalone romance with Ella, Marcus and Nylah getting their happily ever after.

This was very meh for me. Mostly because they kept having sex at the most awkward times. Especially in the beginning after nearly being raped she just goes to bed with some random guy? Weird. Then later she goes on about how tired she is and tells him she won't be up to do much yet he still insistently goes down on her?
