This is a good way to read Slaughterhouse Five if you don't want to read the actual novel.
The illustrations are perfectly fitting to the theme of the story which is weirdly interesting and vaguely sad.
I do find myself wanting to read the original novel now though.

Excellent way to get a frame in place for reading the book.

Though I’ve read the book several times, this presentation did highlight some bits I hadn’t fully understood before.

Disclaimer that I haven't read the original book for probably 20 years, though I have always been a huge Vonnegut fan, but I really adored this work.

I recently read the original book, Slaughterhouse-Five, for the first time, so I was excited to compare it to the graphic novel. It keeps with the original text and context well - I like seeing the concept of time visualized, since that can be harder to grasp.

Listen: this book is incredible. It's a carefully crafted adaptation that strikes the perfect balance between telling the story and taking advantage of the medium used. The story of Slaughterhouse-Five was, is, and always will be one of my favorites. And reading Kurt's words again reminded me why I tried to read his entire body of work in high school. This book has earned a spot on my shelf.
