This was a cute, quick read. I loved the pacing, it was exactly what I was looking for.
The chemistry between the characters was adorable and though the novella was less than 200 pages, I do feel like we got to know them very well.
Again, another plus size romance I won't skip!

This picked up at about 50% of the way in, so if you were expecting a faster burn this may not be for you.
If you're a true bibliophile you'll enjoy the book chat as well as the storyline.

The writing was good but a bit repetitive and a lot more inner monologuing. Enjoyed it but could have been shorter.

The vibes were good & I loved the connection between the characters. Kinda insta-lovey, but it’s good. Plus the spice was 🥵🤭.

This was just kind of boring. It's a novella so it's not like you get a ton of time with the characters but every single extra page was spent stressing the fact that they *gasp* like books. The insta love could not have been creepier either btw

2.5 stars for me personally. I have always loved vampires so of course when I saw the cover I got really excited and the introduction page mentioning all my favorite TV vampires added to it even more, but this novella kind of dragged a bit....especially given how short it is. I appreciate the dual POV (it's one of my favorite forms of narration) but I felt like there wasn't much added when the POV would change from Declan or Rosamund. Phrases got repetitive and while the chemistry was there the relationship still felt shallow by the end. We know they both love books, we know they both are attracted to each other but I feel like some of the chapters could've been reserved to deepening their relationship considering they're going to be spending eternity together. Also considering the CWs for the kinks and a vampire involved the sex scenes were pretty tame. I finished it but it wouldn't be pick it up for a reread.

A 148 page novella that could’ve / should’ve been a short story. The idea behind the plot is swell, but under these circumstances (and with such underwhelming steam)… meh.
