Inspired

I’ve become a huge fan of Napoleon Hill and this is my favorite book so far. After reading, I believe I can do anything I set my mind to. Time to take action!

It's ok, it doesn't add to the original. The first one was a cleaner read.

The main lessons in this book were essentially like reading an updated version of the book of Proverbs, applied directly to business. Basically, be a good person with integrity who works hard and is passionate about what you do, and you'll be successful. Nothing was brand new to me, and it all felt obvious, so I can't say I anchored any specific takeaways... but then again, the first few times I read Proverbs, I felt the same way. The gold is often in meditating on the concepts. That's probably true (to a lesser extent) with this too. It was funny to me that even though it felt like Hill was quoting the Bible all over the place, I don't think he ever actually alluded to it in so many words, though.

This was an interesting, insightful, yet simplistic read. I absolutely enjoyed my experience with this material.

Felt like a finance bro reading this but I actually think there’s some value in the lessons given about the importance of how we treat others. It’s rare to see those kinds of positive messages on humanity in the whole “hustle culture”. Other than that most of the messages were pretty obvious, at least to me, but a reminder never hurts.

The book gives 15 principles to help people become more successful throughout life. Although this book was written in the early 1900's, the principles and tips are still good for the current day and age.

I received a copy of the book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This book didn't impress me, there where some good ideas which have to be remembered but I think a lot of the content was a source of inspiration for the authors in the NLP field, that's why I didn't read new things in this book. He says you have to read it again and again, you have to underline the important phrases but who has all this time? I read this book of more than 300 pages and, when a book it's awesome, let's face it, you figure our after 70 pages.
