The Law of Success: In Sixteen Lessons by Napoleon Hill
4.0
The main lessons in this book were essentially like reading an updated version of the book of Proverbs, applied directly to business. Basically, be a good person with integrity who works hard and is passionate about what you do, and you'll be successful. Nothing was brand new to me, and it all felt obvious, so I can't say I anchored any specific takeaways... but then again, the first few times I read Proverbs, I felt the same way. The gold is often in meditating on the concepts. That's probably true (to a lesser extent) with this too. It was funny to me that even though it felt like Hill was quoting the Bible all over the place, I don't think he ever actually alluded to it in so many words, though.
