have never been so bored in my life.

blaire literally did not shut tf up and she got on my nerves - who reacts like that when they get kidnapped? and victor had no personality at all.

no plot, boring writing, dead banter and it was far too long to finish. dnf @ 65%.

I'm not usually a fan of Mafia Romance, however, Viktor earned a place in my heart in the first book from this series. The strong, silent, beast of a man with a heart and a protective streak so big you know that he's really just a softy with those he cares for. In typical Odette Stone fashion, this story is well written and engaging right from the start. With a touch of suspense and intrigue, the adventure Victor and Blaire take leads to more than either of them expected. Although all her stories can be read on their own, you will love them so much that you'll have to read each and every one. I can't wait for more in this series and from this author.

I enjoy Odette’s books and this was no exception! I struggled a little with the mob ties, but since Viktor and Andrushka have *mostly* gone legal, it helped.

Viktor kidnaps Blaire after her grandfather goes missing, as he apparently has information that is very valuable to someone. Their misadventures while traveling to retrieve something from one of her grandfather’s ships are crazy.

I definitely felt that the ending was a bit rushed, compared to how long they spent traveling. Overall, a good story and I look forward to more from Odette!

Have you ever been watching a spy/bodyguard/adventure movie where the main character has contacts all over the world and is always getting fancy tech and cars to help with their mission? This book is very similar to that kind of story but with everything going absolutely wrong and I loved that aspect so much.

If you are looking for a classic mafia romance that is not what you will get but it was entertaining and had very likable characters. We also get cameos from Andrusha and that was enjoyable for obvious reasons. Looking forward to the next book.

Another great romance from Odette Stone! She continues to write incredible stories! Viktor was a fantastic hero! I loved reading his story of finding love!
