If you hadn’t had enough of Randy and Lily, this will make your heart happy! It is sexy and funny and feely. Did I say sexy? Cause this one is hot! As it always is between Randy and Lily.

Ugh. I just finished the first chapter and I'm really thinking about not finishing it.
***
It was used to keep my daily steak going when I didn't have a book to read, so I was reading/ skimming about a chapter at a time. I'm not sure why this was written, nothing really happens.
Would I read again? No.

I think Randy and Lily are my favorite couple in this series. I loved getting more to their story and it's always nice to see the whole gang together. It's worth the read!

I stepped away from the series after book 4, and read two of the novellas this year to kind of refresh my memory before I continue on. The first one, [b:Where It Begins|69709813|Where It Begins (Pucked #0.5)|Helena Hunting|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1671348323l/69709813._SX50_.jpg|100286525], I wasn't really a fan of, but this one I thought was good.
It's a few weeks before the start of the new season, so all the couples decide to hang out for a weekend of couple sex-a-thons basically. After daily bang sessions, Randy and Lily head home only to find that their place has been invaded by Randy's drunk father.
There's not really a whole lot that happens in here, but it's a nice little slice of life story. Mostly it's Randy and Lily getting it on and Randy worrying about following in his dad's footsteps and messing up everything. I'm not sure if it added anything really new to Randy and Lily's relationship, but it was a nice catch up with all the characters.

3.5 Stars There's nothing wrong with this per se, but it all seemed a bit immature. I dunno, I think for a story that's supposed to be about Lilly and Randy there's far too much Sunny and Violet. It's also a little preview of Lance's book which again, there's not enough of. Still kinda nice being back in the Pucked world.

This book is EVERYTHING. Randy and Lily’s chemistry is off the charts, the laughs are endless, and the emotions hit hard. It’s the perfect mix of sexy, sweet, and heartfelt moments that kept me hooked from start to finish.
What I Loved:
- Randy and Lily: Their relationship is chef’s kiss. They’re so in sync, both physically and emotionally, but still figuring out the deeper layers of their connection. Randy’s vulnerability in this book melted me.
- The Humor: Violet is back with her unfiltered hilarity, and I’m crying laughing at her wild overshares. Every scene with the gang feels like hanging out with old friends.
- The Emotional Depth: Randy’s anxiety and fear of repeating his father’s mistakes added so much heart to the story. It’s raw and real, and I love how Lily supports him through it all.
- The Group Dynamic: The whole crew together at the lake? Yes, please! Their banter and bonding moments are everything I wanted.
- The Steam: Randy and Lily do NOT hold back, and the heat between them is

If you've been watching my reviews lately you'll know I've been gushing about these books, so imagine how excited I was to dive back into a direct sequel to my favorite couple of the series. Randy is serious book boyfriend material and this book goes even deeper into some of the experiences that have made him who he is. I definitely loved their first book more, but this but was just as heartfelt and enjoyable. I was a little disappointed that the stimulus to the conflict in this book didn't see a little more resolution, but not too much.

There’s no doubt for me that Randy Balls is my favourite. It’s been a while since I first read this novella, but it’s just as good as the first time around.
Lily is busy teaching skating and Randy’s anxious about the upcoming season. He’s actually agitated over a couple of things..Lily’s student and the calls from his father. The trip away with the gang should easy some tension, even if it’s only for the weekend. Randy is not big on surprises, and the one that awaits his return isn’t wanted. Lily’s patience is also put to the test with their visitor.
The epilogue is cute, with Randy holding his first newborn and thinking this could be something he might like further, way further down the track. But there’s nothing like a rescue dog to look after in the mean time.
I added the audio this time and Jacob Morgan is perfect for Randy. I do wish this was a duet style narration as it would have been so much better having him deliver all Randy’s lines. Rose does a good Lily too, I’m just not a fan of her male voices.

Re-read because I really enjoy this series. Randy and Lily are great. This was a fun quick read to revisit them.
