It was such a fun little adventure and it was great to see a younger Nightingale and meet some new players.

One of my favorite of the recent Rivers of London books. I liked that it was out of the main time frame. It was also interesting seeing Nightingale as a young man. Best of all was Gussie, who is both a great character and narrator.

Jeeves and Wooster meets Harlem Renaissance meets Rivers of London. What's not to love?
