This started off pretty well and I was excited. The magic is…strange to say the least. But I let that slide. Then it was downhill from there.

I predicted every single twist and turn. The romance was terrible. The tropes were basic and boring. 

Are we supposed to believe that Rune actually saves witches as she struggled to do nearly every single thing she set out to do in this book. 

I skim read the last 50 pages just so it would end. 

2 stars simply because I liked the first few chapters
