After falling in love with the first volume of Veil, continuing with the second only reaffirmed how special this series is. I devoured it in a day. The second volume delves even deeper into that unique connection between him and her, and I was fascinated by how the author’s notes confirmed what I had already been sensing: a relationship that doesn’t fit into the typical molds of romance or friendship. And honestly, I love it. I adore that space between “not romance” and “not friendship.” I feel it makes it extremely special. There are no labels, no need to explain everything. The moments between them are intimate, delicate, and filled with emotions that transcend words. Every gesture, every glance, and even the silences say so much that it’s impossible not to feel the depth of their connection. It genuinely became one of my favorite mangas. One thing that completely shocked me was realizing a detail I missed in the first volume. I had thought that some black panels were an error in the English edition, but as I continued reading, I realized they represent her perspective. This left me speechless. It’s such a simple detail, but it adds so much to the story. Truly, every page is a work of art. I would love to know more about the author; it’s clear from this work that they have a great love for art and fashion. The translation work also deserves praise again, they’re doing an excellent job. I’m very happy to have read both volumes, and I’m eagerly awaiting what comes next. Please read it.
"Veil" was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I didn’t know what to expect beyond the illustrations I had seen before, but it absolutely did not disappoint. This manga isn’t a traditional story but rather a blend of short comics, illustrations, monologues, and dialogues that come together in such a beautiful and captivating way.
The plot revolves around a police officer and a blind girl who has run away from home, and their relationship is… strange, but in the best way possible. Nothing is explained explicitly, and that’s what makes it so special. Their connection is incredible, as if everything is left up to the reader to decide how much to read between the lines. For me, this manga explores the depth of human connections with impressive delicacy. It’s felt in the smallest gestures, like a touch of hands, or in those moments that exist somewhere between friendship and romance. It’s simply beautiful.
I also have to mention the excellent translation work. I’m so happy that mangas like this are reaching more people thanks to such thoughtful translations. I really hope they keep bringing more works like this because they’re truly a gift.
I’m incredibly grateful to have had the chance to read Veil thanks to NetGalley and UDON Entertainment. If you’re looking for something unique, this manga is absolutely perfect.
This manga was a delightful surprise. Fall in Love, You False Angels has a simple yet entertaining premise that hooked me from the start. Although it’s a short story, it left me wanting more. I can’t wait to read the next volumes and see how the protagonists’ relationship develops.
The art is undoubtedly one of its strongest points. The characters are beautifully designed, with details that make them stand out and an aesthetic that’s simply captivating. Their dynamic is fun and carries a lighthearted charm that brings a smile to your face as you read.
I have to admit, ever since I saw the first glimpses of the artwork when it was being published in its original language, I was enchanted and eager to read it. I’m so happy that a publisher decided to translate this work, you can truly see the effort and care they put into it.
If you’re looking for something quick and easy to pass the time, with a mix of romance, beautiful art, and a touch of fun, this manga is an excellent choice. I finished it in a day and absolutely loved it.
Note: I received an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of this manga from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Many thanks to them!

"A Song for You and I" immediately caught my attention when I saw it was by K. O'Neil. This author is absolutely incredible, and I will always read anything they publish. I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy of this stunning graphic novel as soon as it’s available.
The art, though simple, is absolutely wonderful. I love how the characters’ expressions are drawn, conveying such deep emotions through simple drawings.
At first, I thought the story would be straightforward, but it surprised me with its depth. While some elements are left open to interpretation, it only adds to the impact of the narrative. The representation is beautifully done and feels so authentic, and the way the story unfolds is nothing short of masterful.
I highly recommend this graphic novel to everyone, especially young readers or anyone looking for a quick but meaningful read. I finished it in one sitting and loved every second of it. Truly a gem!
Thank you to the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this wonderful book
